Within the association, we implement various measures to maintain a safe sports environment. These are explained below by topic.
Within the association, we follow the codes of conduct of the NOCNSF. The trainers and the board adhere to and sign these. In addition, prospective trainers will also sign these. The various versions of this can be found under the heading 'Code of Conduct'.
Behavior in and around the DOJO must be in accordance with the nature and spirit of bushido. This applies to both athletes and trainers.
All trainers and the board of Ren Bu Kan regularly request a Certificate of Conduct for the purpose of dealing with (young) members. This shows that the government has no objection to each of these individuals teaching (young) members.
All our trainers hold at least Trainer-Coach Profile 1 level.
Despite all the above measures, it is still possible that someone feels unsafe or sees that someone else may feel unsafe. Contact persons have been appointed for these situations in various areas. You can find these contact persons under the heading Confidential Contact Person. Anyone who experiences or encounters an unsafe situation has the choice of which contact to use for this.
